Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday (15 hrs/week)

The Healthy Connections program is currently seeking an Older Youth Program intern for their summer program season who thrives on developing creativity, communication, critical thinking and collaboration in youth to work in our after school program. Working directly with the Program Coordinator, the Older Youth Program intern will assist with the following: administrative tasks for two site locations in Ward 8; capturing activities through social media platforms; creating a weekly program newsletter; building partnerships with partners, colleagues, leadership, families and neighbors; and event planning during the programs pilot process. Platforms expected to be used with great competency are: social media platforms (mainly Instagram and Twitter), Google Docs, Power Point, Presi and/or Sway.
The ideal candidate for this position is an individual with a commitment to the mission of Martha’s Table; a passion for working with and lifting up our youth; a team player and have an interest and some experience in creatively crafting information for dissemination to various target audiences. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma and at least one-year experience at an accredited higher education institution.
